MOT



Don’t be fooled by a cheap MOT!  Cathedral Autocentre only carries out repairs that are necessary to your car’s safety and performance!

Cars, small vans, class 4 and class 7.  We offer pre-booked appointments and ‘drop-in’ MOTs. Leave your car with us before 9am and collect before 5.30pm – no need to book and there's free parking with us all day!

The MOT is an annual test of your vehicle to ensure it meets the UK minimum road safety standards and can only be carried out by Vehicle Inspectorate approved testers.  All UK cars 3 years old and over require a valid MOT certificate by law.

MOT tests can be carried out on your car up to one month prior to the expiry date of the existing UK MOT certificate. Tests take two hours to complete.

Cathedral Autocentre does not offer 'cheap MOT's'. We undertake a full inspection of yourt car and will only advise and carry out works tha are essential to your car's safety and performance. We will never carry out any work without the customer's prior authorisation.

On passing the MOT test, we will issue the vehicle with a certificate valid from the date of expiry of your existing MOT certificate.
